Short version: this site collects almost nothing, and nothing you'd worry about.

What the website collects

Pages here use Google Analytics to count visits — which pages get read, roughly where in the world visitors are, what kind of device they're on, and whether someone clicked through to book a consult. It's aggregate traffic data, the same thing almost every website measures.

It does not collect your name, your email, or anything you type. Nothing sent to Analytics identifies you, and none of it is ever connected to being a client. If you'd rather not be counted at all, browser privacy settings and most ad blockers will stop it, and nothing on the site breaks if you do.

What happens when you get in touch

Booking a consult goes through a scheduling service, which needs a name, an email, and a time. That information is used to hold your appointment and to send you the confirmation — nothing else.

Email isn't a secure medium, so it's worth keeping anything you send before we've started work fairly general. There's no need to explain the whole situation in writing; the consult call is a better place for it.

What happens once we're working together

That's different, and it's covered separately. Clinical records are governed by HIPAA and New York law, and you'll get the full notice before a first session — what's kept, how long, who can ever see it, and the narrow legal exceptions to confidentiality. Nothing in this website policy overrides any of that.
